THE BEERS OF MANFISH BREWING

This is the same recipe that we brewed for our first all grain beer back in May of 2010. A non craft drinking friend had an amber ale one day that he loved, so he asked us to make him one. It's a recipe we have brewed many times and has just stuck around because it's a great amber ale.

"This beer embodies everything we loved about her, her bitterness, her spite, her love of IPAs and who can forget her aire of superiority. She will be a well balanced 6.3% / 106 IBU IPA using simcoe, centennial and columbus hops."

We named this beer Chat Rat Pale Ale as a way to pay homage to all of Ken's friends and family from Picher, Oklahoma. Whether it was when he lived back there, or the many summer vacations he spent in Picher, some bonds never die. Chat Rat is packed full of Cascade & Citra hops for goodness in a glass.

We had decided we wanted to brew a big hoppy beer. We knew we wanted to use at least 1 full pound of hops in a small 5 gallon batch. We asked a friend, Jason K, to come brew with us and what we created that day has become the most talk about, most requested and most sought after beer from Manfish Brewing! "It's So Good... it's 'unpresidented'!"

Are You Ready for our TRIPLE IPA?! This beer came about because we wanted to brew something bigger than we have ever brewed before and we knew we had the friends that would let me know how it was. It is named after something a friend used to ask his son. This bad boy comes in at a whopping 12%, so let me ask you, R U READY?!?

An Imperial Porter with a touch of Chocolate, Coconut & Vanilla. Black Jack Moran was born as a beer for a friend's 21st birthday. he had asked us to brew him something special, so we decided to make it 9.5% since he was born in '95 and why not name it after him as well!
Alc. 9.5% // IBUs 36
This beer came about as a tribute to Ken's late father-in-law who was always willing to try our beers, even if they weren't specifically a style he thought he would enjoy. Finally after trying our "Nacho Ale", he asked Ken to make him a Blonde ale. Sadly, Jim passed before getting to try Poppy's Blonde, but we know he would be proud!

Just like the name says, this is "Not Quite President's Club". It has all the hoppy goodness of President's Club, but we have backed off the ABV a little to make it a bit more easy drinking.
